This part encodes a passenger protein that binds to polystyrene. The synthetic peptide FKFWLYEHVIRG was reverse translated and designed to be expressed in E. coli. The start and stop codons were removed, and the BamHI, BglII, and EcoRI sites were added, along with a 5 bp cap and tail.
